The exhibition brings together delegations, companies and organizations from around the world, promoting technology exchange, foreign investment and collaboration opportunities for the mining, energy and industrial sectors.
EXPONOR 2026 once again demonstrates its international significance with the participation of more than 1,380 exhibiting companies, nearly 40% of which come from 36 countries, in addition to the European Union, which is taking part in the exhibition for the first time. This milestone further reinforces EXPONOR’s position as one of the world’s leading meeting points for the mining and energy industries.
The exhibition features 18 international pavilions representing countries from across the globe. China, Germany, the United States and Canada stand out as the largest international exhibitors, joined by delegations from Australia, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Peru, Poland, Switzerland, Argentina, France, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, among others.
This extensive international presence enables mining companies, suppliers, public institutions and technology centers to gain access to innovative solutions, best practices and emerging trends that are shaping the future of the industry worldwide.
Marko Razmilic, President of the Antofagasta Industrial Association (AIA), stated: "The presence of 36 countries and 18 international pavilions confirms that the mining industry developed in Antofagasta is closely connected to the world's leading trends, technologies and investment opportunities. For our region, this represents access to cutting-edge knowledge, the creation of strategic partnerships and the opportunity to showcase our capabilities to new markets, further positioning Chile as a key player in the global conversation on mining, energy and innovation."
The exhibition's international profile is further strengthened by the debut of the European Union Pavilion, which brings together representatives of the European Union and 13 member states in a shared exhibition space.
The European Union Ambassador to Chile, Claudia Gintersdorfer, highlighted the importance of this initiative: "For the European Union, EXPONOR 2026 represents a valuable opportunity to showcase the contribution that Europe and its member states make to the development of mining in Chile. This is the first time we have had a European Union Pavilion, together with the participation of 13 member countries gathered in a single space. We believe this format strengthens our presence, provides an enhanced platform to demonstrate what Europe can offer Chile in terms of technology, innovation and sustainability, and further reinforces a strategic relationship with a key partner in the mining sector."
Through its international pavilions, business matchmaking sessions, technical seminars and networking initiatives, EXPONOR 2026 continues to strengthen its role as a global platform where investment, technology and international collaboration converge, generating new opportunities for the sustainable development of mining, energy and industry from the Antofagasta Region to the world.
