Since 2024, it has been using the SAP S/4HANA system to integrate multiple processes into a single platform. In addition, it implements the Asset Management Framework in order to optimise resources in line with international standards, along with the Energy Management System to reduce its environmental impact.
Facing challenges in mining with cutting-edge technologies
Minera El Abra has begun to implement technology to improve the safety and efficiency of its operations. These measures include sensors with audiovisual alertsa borescope for safe inspections in mineral processing and the Cascadiasystem, which optimises the use of fuel and lubricants in extraction trucks.
