The mining company recognized the mining-energy exhibition as a key player in bringing new technologies and suppliers to the Mining 4.0 industry.
Producing the sustainable copper that the planet needs is the objective of Spence | BHP, an open pit copper mine that has been operating since 2006 and is located in the Antofagasta Region, the same area where EXPONOR is held; and it is therefore characterized as a faithful strategic partner of this international exhibition, from Antofagasta to the world.
Spence | BHP recently consolidated its position as the mining company with the highest female representation in Chile, with 38.4% of its employees, over three times the national average. Of the 700 women at site, 40.5% hold leadership roles, with Sussanah Osborne standing out from among its management team.

EXPONOR is held every two years in the city of Antofagasta and in 2024 will take place from June 3 to 6 at the AIA Exhibition and Community Activities Grounds. This will be the place where mining companies and companies in other areas will have a chance to connect with suppliers of goods and services that participate as exhibitors, brining innovations and technologies to address their operational challenges and thus meet their sustainability objectives.
