The objective was to promote business opportunities represented by the Chilean mining, energy and industrial sector and, in particular, in the Antofagasta Region. Connecting with over 200 participating exhibitors, to promote its value offer to trans-Andean companies.
EXPONOR had a fruitful participation in the International Argentine Trade Fair for the Mining Industry, ARMINERA 2023, which was recently held in Buenos Aires, with the aim of strengthening ties with the trans-Andean market to promote the business opportunities represented by Chile's mining, energy and industrial sector, and, in particular, the Antofagasta Region, with companies from the neighbouring country.
EXPONOR 2024, to be held from June 3 to 6, will make a platform for face-to-face and on-site connection available to all exhibitors, expanding business opportunities, providing a showcase to the world for the services and products on display.
“We had several interesting meetings with representatives of chambers of commerce and the mining and industrial provinces, in order to visualize potential joint institutional work, given our similarities as a mining region and business association",said Alicia Reyes, EXPONOR Director of International Promotion.

The trans-Andean event was held from May 22 to 24 at the La Rural Predio Ferial in Buenos Aires, with over 200 exhibitors from the mining industry. This activity was attended by Chilean authorities, such as the Minister of Mining, Marcela Hernando, along with the International Affairs Officer, Lucio Parada; the National Director of SERNAGEOMIN, Patricio Aguilera; and the Executive Vice President of COCHILCO, Joaquín Morales, among others.
